The cast and crew of The Dining Room moved into the Harlem Road playhouse Sunday, September 25, following the closing performance of Dial M for Murder.

James F. Petsche directs A.R. Gurney’s comedy of manners, described as a brilliantly conceived and richly humorous theatrical tour de force in which six performers portray a wide array of diverse characters as they delineate the dying lifestyle of the wealthy upper middle class, and the now neglected room which was once a vital center of family life.

Room is Season 49’s second production at Curtain.  Opening night is Friday, October 14.

The cast includes Cory Baker, Randy Benge, Megan Evans, Mary Fisher, Laura Smith Hill, and Drew Washburn.

The Room production staff includes producer Linda Goodwin, rehearsal assistant Betty Peters, stage manager Amy Anderson, set construction supervisor Mark Rasche, lighting designer/set design painter Mark Peters, properties coordinator Mary Benge, sound designer Micah Jenkins, and costume coordinator Angela Krumpelman.  Tim Browning is the artistic direction committee representative.

Tickets for the run of eight performances October 14-30 are now on sale on this website.
