'Delancey,' 'Titanic' tryouts on calendar

Curtain Players has announced audition dates for two upcoming productions: Crossing Delancey, a comedy by Susan Sandler; and Titanic, the Tony Award-winning musical with score by Maury Yeston, book by Peter Stone.

Delancey auditions are set for 7 o’clock Sunday, December 4, at Gallery 202 in Uptown Westerville.  Registration will begin at 6:30 pm.  There is only one night of auditions.  A script review session designed to acquaint actors with the play is planned for 6:30 – 8:30 pm Thursday, December 1, in Study Room North at Westerville Public Library.  Kate Charlesworth-Miller directs Crossing Delancey.

Titanic auditions will be conducted at 7 pm Sunday, December 11, and Monday, December 12, in the Harlem Road playhouse.  Registration will begin at 6:30 pm each evening.  Call backs are scheduled for 6:30 pm Tuesday, December 13.  Those trying out for roles are asked to come prepare 16 bars of music for vocal auditions and wear comfortable clothing for movement auditions.  A script review session is set for 6:30 – 8:30 pm Thursday, December 8, at Gallery 202.  April Olt directs Titanic.
