Hinton resigns secretary office

Longtime Curtain Player Miranda Hinton has announced her resignation from the Curtain Players Board of Directors. Hinton, who on July 1 began a second consecutive term on the board as secretary, told fellow leadership team members of her decision at the board’s July 14 meeting. She is moving from Columbus and so, cannot continue her current level of involvement with the stage company.

Hinton has served as a board member prior to her current term, and she has appeared in many Curtain Players productions, most recently in the roles of Nurse Macintosh and Nurse Rodriguez in September 2010’s staging of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys. She is also a committed Curtain Player volunteer, who has served on many committees, including the box office and house management teams.
