Tech director applications due July 8

The Curtain Players Board of Directors is searching for a new technical director.

Drew Washburn, who was the first ever individual to serve in the part-time position,
resigned effective June 30 after two years. He was recently elected to the board of directors as the leadership team member in charge of facilities.

The technical director post is the only staff position with the community theatre
organization. It is a part-time post and pays a modest monthly stipend. There
are no benefits.

Those candidates interested in the job should contact Drew Washburn at tech.director@curtainplayers.com and include a resume of pertinent theatre education and experience with a focus on technical elements of the art. Washburn can answer inquiries regarding job description and expectations as well how the technical director in integrated into the production teams of the six Curtain Players productions.

Washburn will manage an interview committee which will meet with finalists shortly after the Independence Day holiday.

The deadline for applications is July 8, but the committee may extend its search if
no viable candidates are identified by that date.
