Henderson resigns board office

Jaylene Henderson has announced her resignation from the Curtain Players Board of Directors effective June 30, then end of the current term.

She cited new work opportunities and responsibilities that will keep her from participating in the board’s scheduled meetings in the new season. Henderson did say she will continue to play an active role in the theatre’s volunteer program.

Henderson joined the board in August 2010 as volunteer coordinator, filling a vacancy left by Joyce Roberts who resigned. Henderson in May was elected to a full one-year term on the leadership team to begin July 1.

The board soon will begin seeking a replacement for Henderson and make an appointment.
