Board Looking for New Production Manager

The Curtain Players Board of Directors is soliciting applications for the production manager seat on the community theatre's leadership team following Michael Day's recent transition to the treasurer's post.
The production manager is the point person for shepherding all Curtain Players plays in the season from audition to strike, working with a committee of producers, along with the respective directors and production teams.
According to organization by-laws, board members serve one-year terms from July 1 to June 30. The board's hope is that the individual appointed production manager to serve through June 30 will strongly consider the possibility of staying in the office for the 2011-2012 season.
Application letters should include an expression of interest and a resume of theatre experience. Those letters may be e-mailed to Doug Browell at vice.president@curtainplayers.com. Potential candidates who want to know more about the production manager job may contact Michael Day at treasurer@curtainplayers.com.
Day and Curtain Players technical director Drew Washburn are handling production manager responsibilities on an interim basis. The board hopes to appoint a new production manager by January.
