OCTA Deems Curtain Website the Best

The Ohio Community Theatre Association for a third consecutive year has named curtainplayers.com the Best Overall Website in the state.

The top honor was among seven awards Curtain's online presence received during the OCTA State Conference in Perrysburg during Labor Day Weekend:

Excellence in Overall Website
Excellence in Website Originality
Merit in Website Professionalism & Effectiveness

Jeremy Sony was webmaster for the 2009-2010 season; he co-maintained the website with Stefan Langer. The two veteran Curtain Players were instrumental in the website's development and maintenance in recent years.

Langer is serving as interim webmaster, filling the vacancy left by Sony who is attending graduate school at Ohio University in Athens. The award-winning website will continue to evolve this season with the addition of a new online reservations and ticket purchasing program, among other features.
