Curtain Players this season will offer a new program to enhance audience involvement with the community theatre's productions.
The new Curtain Panels program is a series of audience talkback discussions designed to complement each of the six Curtain Players productions this season. Following the Sunday matinee performance during the second weekend of each run, actors, directors, and special guests will engage audiences in conversations about the process of mounting the local productions and the relevant issues raised in the stories presented on stage.
The Curtain Panel for Curtain's season opener, The Sunshine Boys, will follow the matinee performance Sunday, September 19.
Curtain Players has offered talkback opportunities before, most recently during the summer playwrights festival and the staging of Henrik Ibsen's play Hedda Gabler. The popularity of these opportunities prompted the creation of Curtain Panels.
