Important Information Regarding Our Production of "Titanic: The Musical"

From Beth A. Nisonger, Business Manager and Betty L. Peters, Reservationist

Curtain Players Theater is excited about the sold out audiences to all ten performances of Titanic: The Musical.  Such a large and popular project like this brings some unique challenges to our small theater space.  Below outlines our ticket exchange and refund policy, and as well, some important considerations as you make your plans to attend one of our Titanic performances.

1) WALK-INS:  Due to theater capacity limitations, and the size and scope of this production, we will not be able to accept walk-ins.  Due to the cast and audience size, our parking attendants will need to turn away those without paid tickets.  There is a waiting list for those who were not able to make a reservation.  Patrons who participated in our 2011-12 Patron Drive will receive Preferred Status.  Please contact the reservations line at 614-360-1000 to be put on the waiting list.

2) REQUESTS TO SWITCH TICKETS TO OTHER PERFORMANCE DATES:  Because all ten of our performances are sold out, it will be extremely difficult to exchange tickets for another performance date.  If you wish to have your name placed on the waiting list for another performance, we will contact you if tickets become available.  Preference will be granted to patrons who participated in our 2011-12 Patron Drive.  Please contact the reservations line at 614-360-1000 to be put on the waiting list.

3) CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:  In the unfortunate event that you cannot use your tickets, there is a possibility that we will be able to resell your purchased tickets. If a patron with a valid booking cancels a reservation at least 24 hours before the performance, and we are able to resell the tickets, we will offer a refund.  For credit card purchases, the charge will be reimbursed in the form of a check, and may take up to a week to be processed.  If you wish to waive your refund and donate the cost of the ticket to Curtain Players Theater, we will be able to credit you with a charitable contribution in the amount of the ticket price.

We ask for your understanding that we will not be able to issue refunds or complete any ticket exchanges if we are not informed at least 24 hours in advance that you cannot use your tickets.  Please make every effort to contact us within this time frame so that we have the ability to resell any unusable tickets.
.
4) LATE ARRIVALS:  Our Theater enjoys a remote and rural setting.  It may not be easy for newcomers to find. Make sure that you have good directions.  Plan to arrive at the theater no later than ten minutes prior to performance time.  Once the performance begins, late arrivals will have to remain outside and will not be seated until the beginning of Act I Scene 2, which is about 20 minutes into the show.

5) PARKING:  Our parking lot is very small.  We ask that, to whatever extent possible, people ride-share or carpool with friends and family.  People who are driving separately might want to meet at the Harlem Road United Methodist Church which is 1/4 mile further north of our theater building on Harlem Road, and then ride back down to the theater together in one or two cars.  Our good friends at the church have granted us permission to use their lot for overflow parking.

We apologize in advance for any inconveniences regarding our ticketing policy.  As always, we greatly appreciate your patronage, and are very excited to share this production with the Curtain Players community.
